What features and components were updated on the 2026 (Release C) woom OFF bikes?

In October 2026, we introduced updated woom OFF 4 and woom OFF 5 models featuring our stealthy new treasure black colorway, along with several key technical enhancements:


  • microSHIFT ADVENT 9-Speed Drivetrain: Features size-tuned gear ratios designed for kid-specific power delivery:
    • woom OFF 4: 11–36T cassette with a short-cage rear derailleur
    • woom OFF 5: 11–38T cassette with a short-cage rear derailleur
  • Optimized Short-Cage Rear Derailleur: Engineered specifically to deliver maximum ground clearance over rocks and trail obstacles.
  • Active Motion Clutch Derailleur: Maintains high chain tension to eliminate chain slap and prevent dropped chains on rough terrain.

  • microSHIFT ADVENT Trigger Shifter (SL-M6195-R): Short-reach rubberized levers requiring lower actuation force, making gear changes fast and effortless for smaller hands.

    TEKTRO HD-J3120 Hydraulic Brakes: Child-specific short-reach levers paired with size-optimized disc rotors:

    • woom OFF 4: 140 mm front / 140 mm rear
    • woom OFF 5: 160 mm front / 160 mm rear
  • Schwalbe Rocket Ron Performance ADDIX GREEN Tires: Provides low rolling resistance and high-level cornering grip.
    • Tubeless Note: Stock tires on Release C models require inner tubes and are tube-type only. While the aluminum rims remain tubeless-compatible, converting a Release C bike to a tubeless setup requires purchasing separate tubeless-compatible tires along with tubeless rim tape, valves, and sealant.
